We all have a family tree, and have been strongly influenced by our family of origin. Our family of origin influences how we function as leaders in ministry. So does your “leadership family tree.” Every one of us has been led by pastors, mentors or other leaders. Those who have led us range from healthy leaders who gave of themselves for our benefit, to abusive leaders who have used and manipulated us. Whatever your experience has been, be assured that those who have led you have had an impact on you — one way or another. You have been “taught” or have “caught” healthy or unhealthy leadership patterns!! In our time together, we will examine the healthy and unhealthy influences on us, and whether there are skeletons or gold coins in our leadership closets. You will gain critical insight and walk away with the tools to lead with clarity and break free from unhealthy patterns.
