Description:
How do our past experiences and vows impact our lives so powerfully that they can unintentionally sabotage the relationships we care most about? What does it mean to live a vibrant life, as a man or woman, in redemptive, healthy relationships with both God and others? This unique, interactive seminar addresses inside-out transformation as it relates to our identity, ultimate heart commitments, and our sexuality. We will learn how to identify healthy and unhealthy relational patterns and develop practical relational skills that will enhance our ability to love and care for others. In addition to break-out sessions and time for personal reflection, we will share two delicious catered dinners together and have ample opportunity to meet new and old friends.
About the presenters:
Dave Wiedis, J.D., M.S.C.C.
Dave Wiedis is the founder and Executive Director of ServingLeaders Ministries, a ministry that focuses on serving and ministering to pastors, ministry leaders, and their families. Dave is a counselor, attorney, and teacher. Having witnessed firsthand the pressures of ministry and the devastation to families and churches that results from the lack of pastoral care for ministry leaders, he cares deeply for the Body of Christ and has been serving ministry leaders for many years.
Dave attended Villanova Law School and has been an attorney for over thirty years. He also has a Masters’ Degree in Christian Counseling from Cairn University. In addition to providing personal and marriage counseling at ServingLeaders Ministries, Dave serves as an adjunct professor at Cairn, and regularly speaks at churches, pastors’ conferences and retreats.
Dave is married to Miho Kahn, a performing and visual artist and interior decorator. Together, they perform Miho’s one-woman show entitled “Clean Sheets.” (mihocleansheets.org). He enjoys traveling, taking long walks, bicycling, skiing, and being with good friends. Dave and Miho have two adult children and live in West Chester, PA. Laura Nagy, MS RD LDN CPT, Certified Wellness Coach.
Laura is the Program Manager for Wellness at Johnson & Johnson in Malvern, PA. Laura works with individuals and groups as a Registered Dietitian, wellness coach and personal trainer. Laura enjoys leading workshops and classes on a wide variety of wellness topics and empowering her clients to achieve their goals. In 2018 Laura stepped into a new adventure and is now in the Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Immaculata University.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys outdoor adventures, yoga, the arts, and spending time with family and friends.
