ServingLeaders Ministries is hosting "Created For Connection," an interactive workshop based on life-changing practices for couples developed by Dr. Sue Johnson. Whether your relationship is healthy and you are looking to grow together, or whether you are experiencing disconnection and conflict, this powerful workshop will help you create deeper connection with your partner. You will learn to identify and stop the negative cycle that all couples can get caught in, and create new patterns of relating that are based on the fact that we are created for connection—to God and to each other.
• Better understand romantic love and the pivotal moves that make or break it.
• Explore what drives conflict—and how to work through it.
• Learn to rebuild broken trust, safety and security in your relationship.
• Learn to communicate in a way that leaves you feeling deeply heard.
• Deepen your bond and decrease pain and distance.
"My husband and I have attended numerous marriage seminars and workshops, and none ever made a lasting change in our relationship....This time was different. We connected on an emotional level we had not achieved before. I know we are not leaving the same as when we walked into the workshop last night. We have committed to starting a new relationship from today onward."
"I really was a sceptic about this seminar. We've had lots of therapy and regardless we remained stuck. This was hard work this weekend, but we broke through some very hard places, and I saw things in a totally new way....I see now that we have so much more to learn and with so much more hope!"
"We were so far apart emotionally and very stuck....We thank the Lord over and over for helping us through your ministry. Of course we still struggle at times! But we have so much more awareness of our own hearts and the impact of our past experiences, and that helps us to be able to relate to one another in healthier ways."
