Many ministry leaders have a distorted, unbiblical view of emotions and spend too little time with Jesus to sustain their doing for Jesus. However, it is not possible to be spiritually mature unless you’re emotionally healthy. This seminar will explore a biblical view of emotions and teach practical ways to cultivate intimacy with Christ by getting our life in balance and priorities in order.

Based on Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Pete and Geri Scazzero, this multi-part Ministry Leader Gathering will dive into principles from The Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Course (EHS), which:

• Directly addresses the reality that emotional maturity and spiritual maturity are inseparable. It is not possible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature.

• Equips people to develop a personal, first-hand relationship with Jesus by incorporating stillness, silence and Scripture as daily life rhythms.

Salem Bible Church is hosting this Multi-Part Ministry Leader Gathering over the 2019-2020 season. Participation in all the sessions is highly encouraged but not required, there will be overlap and review of materials in each session for anyone who had not attended the previous session(s).
